Coconut oil and gooseberry hair mask for dandruff
When we mix coconut oil with gooseberry juice, it works like a charm on vanishing dandruff. It is easy to get gooseberry fruit these days. Nothing can beat gooseberries picked by yourself if you have access to a tree.
If you want to avoid the trouble of juicing gooseberry yourself, you can always opt for readymade juice online.
The root cause of dandruff is contracted fungus. Coconut oil has anti-fungal properties and works best for dandruff.
- Gooseberry Juice – 1 Tbsp
- Coconut Oil – 1 Tbsp
First of all, you’ll need to juice the gooseberry fruit if could not manage to get your hand on readymade gooseberry juice. Grate the gooseberry and press the juice out of it. You need to mix them both in a mixing bowl. I recommend double boiling the mixture instead of boiling it directly. If you have double boiler its a bingo, or you can do it the other way. Just add 1 inch of water in the pot and put the mixing bowl on top of your pot.
Don’t start boiling before coconut oil melts. Once it starts melting you can boil it for about 5 minutes.
Mix the both well, and apply to your scalp using fingertips. Let the mask sit on your hairs for about 1 hours and rinse with lukewarm water. Try not to use medicinal shampoos for rinsing, use natural homemade shampoo instead.
Thats it folks, that was coconut oil mask for your hairs, as simple as that.
Use it for and let me know the difference in comments.
